Steve Jobs

QUESTIONS TO ASK OUR SELF:
1) What do you think Jobs will discuss in his commencement speech?
I believe he'll say a pretty motivational speech on how he became rich so hopefully he motivates some students to do great things in life.
2) What do you believe motivates Jobs? Why?
I think there are many reasons that motivates Jobs and people in general. Jobs in my eyes wanted to change the world through his technology. He wanted to prove to all the skeptics that the impossible is indeed possible. He wanted to show to those whose ideas never get heard can be heard by action. Thats what motivates jobs, people. Integrity.

"You have to trust in somthing- your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever." This text from jobs speech is very easy to relate to. The diction and word placing is fairly simple for any young or older reader to comprehend. It's a perfect example on how jobs main goal is to make everything easier in life. He is very east to understand and never tries to use high vocab to "out smart" someone, it shows in his work his intelligence.
4) Does Steve Job's success in life reflect in his speech?
After going ahead an reading the speech you can really tell the man is laid back and a human being like any other person. Money has not gotten to him. He had problems in his life like a normal person would and never let those issues stop him from persuing his dreams. He talks about bussiness with love not capital. Those are some of the qualities that make steve different from the rest of the other competition.

SCANNING TEXT
Going through the speech Jobs has 3 main stories to tell, each relaying a different moral message. His first story talks about him dropping out of college a decision most students are scared to do. He stated how it was the best thing he did in his life and if he weren't to have ever done that then Apple wouldn't be apple. He next story sends a message about how he found what he loved at such a young age. HE realized that getting fired from apple was a good thing at the time. it forced him to rethink his stragety and put him through a renaissance in life. A new beginning persay.  His last and final story to shut out the crowd was about dying. "and yet death is the destination we all share" this quote really got to me. It made me respect jobs as a person and appreciate the work he has done. He ends his speech with potraying a picture of a road everyone can walk on and a quote stating "stay hungry, stay foolish"
VOCAB" fairly easy"
